Why is my progress not being saved?

This can be due to different things related to your device, browser, and/or network environment.

How to avoid this issue?

  • Avoid opening multiple tabs on your browser while using CanopyLearn, and always log out if you have to stop learning for a long time.
  • Avoid clicking through the course content too quickly.

How to solve this issue?

  • Please close all your CanopyLearn tabs or browsers. Then, sign in again to refresh the page. Sometimes the latest progress will be picked up by your browser.

Answering these will help our developers quickly find the root cause of the issue:

  • What browser are you using?
  • What device are you using?
  • Anything you can tell us about your session that deviates from sitting down & working on the course without interruption through the end of your session.
  • Did you walk away long enough for your device to go to sleep?
  • Did you change physical locations or networks during the session?
  • Are you on a wifi network or mobile (cell data)?
  • If wifi, is it home, work, school, coffee shop, etc.?
  • Are you on a bus, train, subway, etc.?
  • Are you running other programs, if so what?
  • Any settings you changed in your browser from the stock download?
  • What if any browser plugins have you installed?
  • If on a phone or tablet, are you switching between other applications while working on the course, getting calls or texts, etc.?
